21. “There were no more questions. The most important question had been answered: Why? 22. “People do not follow robots.”

23. “The test is not a complex one: when the alarm goes off, do you get up out of bed, or do you lie there in comfort and fall back to sleep? If you have the discipline to get out of bed, you win—you pass the test. If you are mentally weak for that moment and you let that weakness keep you in bed, you fail. Though it seems small, that weakness translates to more significant decisions. But if you exercise discipline, that too translates to more substantial elements of your life.”

24. “It’s not fun to get out of bed early in the morning. When the alarm goes off, it doesn’t sing you a song; it hits you in the head with a baseball bat. So how do you respond to that? 28. “If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another. By the end of the day, that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter. If you can’t do the little things right, you will never do the big things right.”

29. “SEAL training was a great equalizer. Nothing mattered but your will to succeed. Not your color, not your ethnic background, not your education and not your social status.”

Those students didn’t make it through training. Those students didn’t understand the purpose of the drill. You were never going to succeed. You were never going to have a perfect uniform.

  1. All the quotes stresses positive thinking and to be optimistic. They are helpful for everyone to keep going in the journey. I like most this one:

“Change happens when you least expect it, and it lasts indefinitely. Preparation won’t suffice, but adaptability will. A personal willingness to accept change and to adapt to it is what allows you to flourish in the unknown. Preparation is just the byproduct of a willingness to try.”

Yes, in an unexpected situation our adaptability and flexibility are badly needed.

    • Thank you, Jimmy, for taking time and giving a feedback. You are right – they stress positive thinking and optimism – that’s why I posted them here. Because that is something an entrepreneur so desperately needs (especially in the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey). And, as you probably noticed, they SEALS also emphasize the importance of a teamwork. Nobody survives alone. That’s also true for entrepreneurs (again, especially true for newbies).

So if you are reading this and are still trying to figure out where to get a great support team to rely upon, why not try this. I have found it absolutely awesome!

What an amazing list of inspirational quotes! My favorite is number 9, the one about change. I think many of us have a natural aversion to change, and the point, like he says, is to be able to adapt to it. Certainly important for a soldier, but can be just as important in our own personal lives. Thanks for putting these together!

    • Thank you for the feedback, Rachel. As you said, all these quotes, although crucial for soldiers (in training and in combat) are, in fact, as crucial for you and me in business and in every day life as well. So I am glad to hear that you found something valuable in them.

      God bless you,

      Egon

    • Thank you for taking time to comment, Aya. As for your questions about the books, then in fact, I have not relied to any particular book. Instead, I have done these internet marketing traingin courses. They constitute the backbone of everything I know and do online. And they are, in my opinion, by far the best training courses I have found. So solid, so simple to follow… Just amazing.

Other than that, I have done my research in the internet and also read much about copywriting. You can find great stuff about copywriting when you search my site on “copywriting” I have written pretty many articles on the subject.

Try it out. You will find stunning study materials, some of the greatest ads (with biggest selling power), etc.
