Words and phrases that you type into search box are called keywords. Search engines use those keywords to search information for you. Websites that include the same keywords that you typed in, are included in your search result.
Longtail Keywords are keyword phrases that consist 2 or more keywords. In previous years, people used shorter keywords to search for information. When they wanted to change their WIFI password, they typed in “WIFI password”. Yet these days the tendency is that keywords become longer. “How to change WIFI password on my computer” is one example of Longtail Keyword.
Longtail keywords are especially useful in online marketing because they are they enable more specific searches, give fewer search results and so enable the website to rank higher.
MLM – Multi-Level Marketing is a business strategy where the company uses its existing distributors’ network to 1) direct sell its products/services and 2) to recruit new distributors. People who join MLM companies, earn the percentage by recruiting new distributors and selling products/services of the MLM Company. Amway and Herbalife are two examples of MLM companies.
While MLM is legitimate business strategy then it is still quite similar to illegal pyramid schemes and often confused with them.
In other words – Internet Marketing
A form of marketing where a marketer targets a specific subset or segment of the market. For example, “Smartphones” is a niche but very broad niche. “Samsung smartphones” is more specific niche; yet “Samsung S4 smart phone leather cases” is very specific niche.
Be careful! Most of them, (if not all) are scams! OEP is an online version of envelope stuffing (which is also a scam). Typical tactics of OEP is like this: You see an ad which offers great income with little effort. You pay a fee between $5-50 and then you will get your “information kit”. This kit teaches you how to send out the exact same ads to your customers… to get them to pay the same fee that you paid.
The message that you send privately.
ROI is used to evaluate how efficient an investment has been; or to compare the efficiency of two or more investments. The formula to calculate ROI is:
The purpose of RSS (“Real-time Simple Syndication” or “Really Simple Syndication”) is to deliver the latest news from all those websites that you are interested about, directly to your display. They can be news, politics, blogs, jokes, motivational quotes etc. The companies who produce content, submit their headlines to some RSS feed server and the server delivers those headlines to all who are interested. Just choose some RSS reader (most of them are free) load the topics that you are interested in and start reading. You can find top free RSS Readers here.
When doing your internet search then search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo etc show their results based on what they found relevant for you. More relevant web pages get higher ranking and are shown first. Higher ranking means bigger traffic to a website and so often also bigger profit for the owner of that website. Because of this it is important for an online marketer that his website has higher search engine ranking.
SEO is the process to optimize a website the way that search engines give it higher ranking.
