My Verdict: Is ClickBank legit? It is definitely legit. The only problem is that some of the vendors they allow on there sometimes have dodgy products, so if you want to promote a ClickBank product, make sure you have done your homework and thoroughly researched the product.
A stunning ALTERNATIVE to Clickbank that will help you make $1200 a month (and beyond) online. And these testimonials are proof.

Full Review – What Is Clickbank And What Is Affiliate Marketing About
This guide is geared towards affiliates and not the vendors themselves, so how does ClickBank actually work?
Well, ClickBank is a middle-man website that helps to set you up as a middleman.
Let me explain.
There are millions of vendors around the world trying to sell their wares. And in an ever-competing marketplace, it is becoming harder and harder to sell goods. This is where you come in (and millions of other people). If you can sell their products, you get a cut (up to 50% of the retail value).
Some of the companies that run affiliate programs (where you can signup and start making money) are:
- Wealthy Affiliate
- Amazon affiliate program
- eBay Partner network
- Clickbank (we talk about it in this article here)
- Fiverr affiliate program
- CJ Affiliate (former Commission Junction)
- ClickFunnels Affiliate Program
- Shopify Affiliate Program
- Kinsta WordPress Hosting
- etc., etc., etc.
Back to the Clickbank affiliate program.
Well, sign me up
Not so fast. Because you need to know a little information in the first place, I come to this in a minute. Before that, though…
…As for the Clickbank signup process, it is pretty straightforward. You enter your details, including your bank details, and you are ready to go. After that, you can browse through the products, find the ones you like, and sign up to become an affiliate:
When the product is sold through your affiliate link (a specific link that contains your affiliate ID code), you receive a percentage of the sale (as set by the vendor).
What about ClickBank? They also get their cut of the money (this is one of the ways they bring in Major Bucks).
Anyway, as for you – So far, so good.
But, here’s the deal
Let me ask you – How many products do you think you can sell right now? And how are you going to sell them? Friends and family soon run out. So what next?
That is where the extra difficulty level kicks in. It is fine selling a few items here and there, but if you want to make some real money, you are going to have to put in some real work.
Therefore, before you even sign up, you should ask yourself two things:
- Do I have an established brand that I can use to market specific products?
- If not, can I set up an established brand to sell products online?
This is important if you want to make this a full-time job.
That being said, there are no limits to what you can sell online and how much of a product you can sell. The sky really is the limit.
Imagine that you have a fishing blog. You have nurtured this blog for many years and have many visitors following your site. Some people comment on your blog. Some browse your fishing photos. Some are regular visitors, and some stumbled upon it today.
Whatever the reason for the visit, traffic is high.
Now, if you were to set up affiliate links to fishing gear, there is a good chance that people would buy through your links and give you some money in your pocket:
Imagine how much easier this would be than trying to sell products through email or Facebook.
This is what I mean by an established brand.
But what if I do not have an established brand, you might ask.
Then… Can you create one? And, do you have the time and skills necessary to create a brand that will appeal to a mass of people and allow you to sell products and make money?
This is where you need to think of your blog (or site) as an investment. Because if you are building a brand, you will not see any money back until you start to sell products.
Therefore, when you set up your Clickbank account, you need to realize what your limits are. If you have an established brand, then you can make a lot of money. If you are starting fresh, you will have to put in a lot of work in the first place…
…Or your sights have to be aimed low.
If you’d like to learn how to create an affiliate marketing blog that is netting you some nice cash flow…
Remember, I talked about how ClickBank made its money? Well…
…Here is the kicker:
If you are not careful, you can lose all of your cash to ClickBank!
How is this possible? ClickBank can’t do that, surely?
Yes, it can. And it has.
When you are signing up, you have the option as to when you are paid. When the money in your ClickBank account (yes, it is not wired directly to your bank) reaches a certain threshold, it is wired to your bank. When the money is wired, ClickBank charges a processing fee.
But wait. It gets worse.
You may be thinking that it makes sense to set a high threshold limit. You do not want to reach $10 and have them take $2.50 from you. You will want to set it higher than $10, but you will want to find a balance because if your account is dormant for a while, ClickBank will start to take money from you daily!
If your account balance has not reached the threshold and you have not made any sales for a while, your account becomes dormant. When this happens, ClickBank takes a dollar a day (which rises as time passes).
That’s how if you are not careful, you can lose all of the money you have worked to make.
Conclusion – Is Clickbank Worth It?
If you think that you have a knack for sales, then go for it.
Clickbank is low risk, and you can make money from selling pretty much anything. If you already have an established brand, such as a blog or website, then you can make a lot of money without having to do a lot of extra work. If you know of a niche you are willing to tap into and have the time and skills, you could build something which could make you a ton of money over time.
If you don’t have a blog or website and are a complete novice but would like to learn how to make money with Affiliate Marketing…
…Here’s the best way I’ve ever found to learn how you can create your own passive income stream online — no matter where you are on the novice/expert scales…
Just see if this is something you should jump on. Do it now!
Final Verdict
Overall, ClickBank provides you a low-risk way of making some extra cash (as long as you are savvy during the sign-up process).
Is ClickBank a scam, or is it legit? I have to say that it is legit, though they are in the business to make money.
