I do not know what opportunities are available for you living in West Africa. For me, it is complicated to test it because usually, different platforms don’t give out such information. Only after you try to sign up with them, you get to know if they accept you or not.
Before you sign up with them, though, please check, double-check, and triple-check if it is a legit opportunity. Because there are way too many scams floating around.

I signed up with this site a few days ago and they asked for one dollar so they would know that I’m serious and unlock the training. When I tried logging in to the member’s zone they told me I don’t have access. Yesterday they withdrew $47 from my account, they then sent me an email with a link which leads to another site which wants me to buy another product.

These days one extremely careful when giving out sensitive data like credit card information etc. If the other side is not reliable and trustworthy business, they can easily behave like this one here.

And because of that most businesses and individuals in other parts of the world are afraid do business with you when they hear that you are from Nigeria.
You may be very honest person but because of the reputation of your country there’s very little trust left. I am sorry but it is not in my power to change the Wealthy Affiliate policy. At the moment they don’t accept applications from Nigeria.
Hopefully some day in the future… Until then you must find something that accepts members from Nigeria.

Hi, James, and thank you for the inquiry. Even though it looks like a genuine opportunity, I still think it is a scam. Here’s why:
Let’s do the numbers. First, they offer you $900 a week if you test online games for them. Then they say, “Minimum 8 hours per week (flexible times).
Remote, so available to people from Bangladesh.” And then they add, “Pays $40/hour ($900/week).”
Now that does not add up. If they pay you $40 per hour then you have to work 22.5 hours a week to make that $900 (not that minimum 8 hours as mentioned above). These 8 hours are misleading. It gives you an impression as if you could make $900 by working only 8 hours a week.
But this is wrong. Because if they pay you $40/hour then 8 hours work is going to make you only a mere $320.
And what about required skills? Oh, these are not required. Because, “Full training provided for free (takes 30 minutes).”
Can you imagine any serious skill set that you can master within 30 minutes?
In other words, this work does not require any specific skills at all. The work is so easy that everybody can do it. And yes, even people form Bangladesh.
And they are willing to pay you $40/hour.
Good.
Now let’s come to reality.
According to Trading Economics, average wages in the US increased to $23.59/hour in August 2019.
Now this is the average hourly pay in the whole United States. It includes all the skilled workers, etc. Of course, the more skilled you are, the bigger your salary. But this is the average hourly pay.
And here’s the New York Times article, “Amazon to Raise Minimum Wage to $15 for All U.S. Workers.”
And here they offer $40/hour with 0 skills required!!!
I clearly do not buy it. It must be a scam. Or put differently, if it were true and a legit opportunity, all Amazon workers (in fact, half of the American working population) would be testing online games by now. And making at least twice of what they earn now.
No, I don’t believe it is a real opportunity. Too unrealistic.

I know, there is a problem with Liberia, Nigeria, and some African nations as well. In short, the problem is that when there are too many scammers coming (or operating) from some country then many western companies cannot but refuse to serve customers from those countries. As a result, the honest people from those countries get punished as well. And what can you do? Really nothing. Because if the company says that at the moment they don’t accept customers from this or that country… Then this is their policy. Sad but that’s how it is.
Hope you can find some other way to make money from Liberia.

That’s because there are way too many scammers coming from Nigeria who deceive millions of dollars out of ordinary people and from me big and small businesses.
And that’s the reason many businesses in the Western world are afraid to do business with people from Nigeria. So what do they do? They close the door and say – sorry but at the moment we don’t give membership to people from Nigeria (there are other countries as well).
Obviously, many honest Nigerians get punished as well (and that’s terrible) but what can we do? That’s how the situation is.

It really depends. It depends what your previous knowledge, skill level, and experiences are when you start. It also depends how much time you can invest into it. Single young adults can obviously give much more of their time than, say, father of 4 little kids.

That’s why I always tell to people not to take their online venture as a sprint race but rather as a marathon. Wealthy Affiliate is not a Get-Quick-Rich scam that promises you the heavens by next Monday. Far from it.
That being said, if you are diligent and willing to work persistently, what you build today will serve you for years to come.
