Below you will find my list of the most used hashtags on Twitter by the top 50 social media power influencers 2015.
Hashtags are cool! They’re IN, aren’t they?
However, do you use hashtags correctly? Do you know how to use them efficiently?
Or, you just randomly slam # in front of words, whatever these words happen to be?
In this post, I want to show you something exciting. I want to show you how the TOP 50 most powerful social media influencers use Twitter hashtags.
I used Twitonomy to get and analyze the data. However, I don’t give you only a list of top hashtags. There is some more for you.
The time range you see under each name is the period of his/her 3,200 latest tweets.
That is because Twitter returns a maximum of up to 3,200 of a user’s most recent tweets. Well, this is more than enough to get a pretty good picture of that person’s tweeting habits.
Then, for each person on the list, I give average numbers of tweets per day and hashtags per tweet. Although these numbers are always changing, the changes are minor and do not affect the big picture.
And finally, for each person on the list, I give their ten most used hashtags on Twitter.
You will obviously notice that most of these power influencers DO NOT use hashtags as often as you might have thought.
Pretty surprising, right?
Only 8 out of 50 influencers use 1 or more hashtags per tweet on average. Many others use hashtags rather scarcely.
So therefore, here is what I would like for you to do: go through the list and study the use of hashtags by each particular power influencer. Learn from Pros.
